JUNIOR POLICY

All Juniors (17 and younger) will need a ticket to enter the tournament on both practice and competition days. Juniors are only admitted free to the grounds with a ticketed adult during Practice Rounds (Tuesday – Friday), but the complimentary Junior grounds ticket must still be added to the order above and provided at the tournament gate. Juniors must have a hospitality ticket for access to the hospitality venue. All Junior ticket options are listed above in the Junior section.

MEIJER PAVILION

New to the Solheim Cup in 2021 is the Meijer Pavilion offering fans a 300 degree view of the course. You can purchase access to the pavilion and see all the action on holes #5 and #12. Watch the ladies tee off on #15 and play the greens on #4, #11, and #14. This incredible vantage point with covered, open-air seating also comes with a climate-controlled area and upgraded food and beverage options available for purchase. OHIO CLUB

The Ohio Club is also new in 2021. Located on the tennis court just off the 18th hole. The Ohio Club includes full food and beverage service, TV's, an outdoor patio and executive restroom facilities. OPENING CEREMONY

Join fellow Solheim Cup attendees in Promenade Park in downtown Toledo for a once-in-a-generation celebration! The Opening Ceremony will be one of a kind, as the downtown Toledo streets will be filled with artists, live performances, musicians, and aromas of fabulous cuisine from local Toledo restaurants. The live ceremony will stream throughout the footprint, followed by a performance by Gwen Stefani who will ignite the stage and continue the celebration.

Opening Ceremony will not be hosted at the tournament course, and is not included in your previous Solheim Cup ticket purchase.

SOLHEIM AFTER SUNDOWN DOWNTOWN PRESENTED BY DANBERRY CO., REALTORS

Solheim After Sundown Presented by Danberry Co., Realtors is the kick-off event for Solheim Cup week and will take place right in the center of downtown Toledo on Tuesday, August 31 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm! Come kick off Solheim Cup week in Downtown Toledo at Hensville Park.

The $75 ticket includes

• Access to the event,
• One (1) drink ticket,
• A practice round ticket for Wednesday, September 1st.

The event will include live music, live grilling, and a live and silent auction with all proceeds going to the Danberry Treasure Chest.

The 2021 Solheim Cup is kicking off this week, and as an official sponsor, we wanted to share the history of the Solheim Cup as well as highlight some of what you can expect from this years U.S. held event.

What is the Solheim Cup?

Every two years this event brings the twelve best players from the LPGA together to compete against the twelve best players from the LET (Ladies European Tour) in a Team USA vs Team Europe team match-play competition.  The coveted Waterford Crystal trophy is considered one of the most highly regarded trophies in women’s profession golf. Heading into the 2021 event, Team USA holds a 10-6 lead of wins over Team Europe.

When and where will the Solheim Cup be held?

The 2021 event is being hosted at Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio, August 31 through September 6, 2021. The next Solheim cup will be held in 2023 in Spain.

How did the event get started?

The first Solheim Cup was held in 1990 at Lake Nona Golf Club in Orlando, Florida. The Team USA walked away with the win.

Where does the Solheim Cup name come from?

The Solheim cup is named in honor of famed golf club manufacturer Karsten Solheim and his wife Louise. They are founders of Karsten Manufacturing Corporation, which makes PING golf equipment.

How Can I Attend?
